Lex in the Kitchen: Chocolate Chips Cookies

So, I have really gotten into the bake. I just love it so I am going to start posting what I make in separate blogs.

Tonight I made Chocolate Chips Cookies. I used the recipe on the back of the Publix brand chocolate chips as my guide. I did not follow it completely. This is what I used.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 1/4 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar, packed firmly

1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoons of vanilla

12 oz. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375*. In one bowl combine flour and baking soda.

In a separate bowl combine brown sugar, sugar and butter. Add vanilla and eggs and mix well. Slowly add in the flour mixture while stirring. Once everything is combined, fold in chocolate chips. Drop mixture by the spoonful depending on how big/small you want them. Bake 9-11 minutes. Enjoy!!!
